Codere has signed a sponsorship agreement with Argentine football club River Plate to become the club’s official betting partner.
The Spanish multinational in the personal gaming sector will sponsor the club for the next four seasons until August 2025.
Codere started in Argentina in the early 1990s and is now the largest gaming hall operator in the state of Buenos Aires with 13 gaming halls. It operates more than 6,800 casino slots and traditional bingo, and expects to start operating online as soon as the province approves it.
Codere Sponsorship Manager Carlos Sabanza said, “This agreement allows us to reach the Argentine and Latin American public in the most direct way possible, enabling us to provide the best possible brand experience to our current and future customers.” “This alliance with one of America’s most important football teams strengthens our position as the leading provider of online sports betting and omnichannel entertainment in this key market.”
Codere received their second sports sponsorship this month, and the company recently became the official betting partner of Mexican football club Monterrey Rayados.
River Plate Club’s first vice president, Jorge Brito, added: It solidifies our growth and shares the same commitment, hard work and fair play values.”
