Playtech said its ‘very strong online performance’ continued in its latest deal update from January 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021.
The group said its online business continued to perform very strongly as retail sales in Italy began to resume in mid-June, performing in line with expectations.
Highlights of this period include a multi-state, multi-product deal with the Greenwood company, which operates Parx Casino, with subsequent launches in Michigan with further launches planned for late 2021 and 2022.

“As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to pose challenges and the macroeconomic outlook remains uncertain, the possibility of further unexpected closures remains, but given the strong H1 performance and the momentum of the business, the Board remains confident of the company’s outlook for the rest of 2021. And more,” read in a statement from Playtech.
The company added that it will issue a supplemental bulletin in the coming days to update shareholders on the Finalto sale process, with interim results announced on September 23, 2021.
